That knife with the gut hook is actually the Gerber I mentioned. I use one of these to sharpen the gut hook

NEAT'O where'd ya get it? the sharpening stick part ceramic also? I usualy use some type of steel for touch ups but for serious sharpening will break out the japenese water stones in 800,1200 grit and a stone and slate you rub together that makes a paste that will leave a mirror finish. (find them in woodworker magazine if interested)

No its a diamond file. I have seen them at wallyworld and Lowe's. I can cut a piece of paper with the gut hook on mine it is so sharp
