I am going to put a scope on it. Matter of fact, I went and got the bases today. I really didn't seee anything at wally world I liked other than junk, and Dic k's was over priced on everything. Ill probably just order a 4x for it
I have the same rifle,been letting my jr use it.I finally got some of those lever rev. bullets for it. Pest control eh? How much to do a 1200 sq ft house?

Well I finally found a scope today that fit my needs. Been hitting Wal Marts and all they had was junk scopes, or very high $$ scopes. I did not want to invest in a $200 scope for a knock around rifle. Dic k's is over priced so I refused to buy anything from them.
I hit University Pawn that is mainly a gun store and all he had was scopes in the $700 range and a couple :viet-cong: made.
Finally ran over to Sports Authority. They are my last resort before I order one out of a catalog. Really wanted to find something before the weekend so I can shoot it.
Walked in there and they had a Simmons, regular price of $139. It was on clearance for $69. Guy said he was marking down a lot of the hunting stuff 20%. so he knocked off another chunk and I got out the door with it for $55.97 :rockkon:

I have bad mouthed Sports Authority in the past, but they gave me a good deal this time so I have to give them some :thumbs up:
They have really good deals on stands too. All the gorilla stands are marked down 20% right now
dicks usually is overpriced, i agree, i still go in there though, cause they are cheaper than anyone else around me that has any selection at all. i did go in there the other day and they had the limbsaver string decelerators marked 14.99, so i picked one up, at the register it rang up $43. so i told him they said 15 and the girl went back and looked and i got it for 15. so i bought some rage 2 blade expandables as well, 2+" cut. they finally have some decent archery stuff in stock now, like you said though, mostly overpriced. all the walmarts around here have :crap: selection for hunting. have been able to get ammo lately though. last couple of times i went in they had .40 for me and usually have .308.
