What are you running - XP, Vista, etc?

Go to Start, then Accessories, then System Tools, then look for "Disk Cleanup" and click on it. Pick the drive you wish to clean, and it will check it for temp files, temp internet files, old install files, stuff in your recycle bin, etc. Once it finishes the scan it will list what it found, and just about anything it finds can be deleted. If you click on the "OK" it will ask if you're sure you want to delete these items, confirm it, and let it work.

Trying all that defrag stuff now. And if that don't work it may end up in a pond. 😈
