I realized a few weeks ago I have a lot of guns and a poor, if any inventory system
Here is what I did, and encourage all to do something similar
I made a simple spread sheet on Excel which included the basics:
Make
Model
caliber
Serial #
Also left a spot for a brief description of the gun and my personal history of it
I took 2 pictures of each gun
1 a closeup of the serial #, the other a general pic of the gun
I ordered the pics online and they came in the mail. I attached each pic with a glue stick to the page which contains all the info on the gun. I put all this in a binder which will be placed in my safe deposit box at the bank
