In all the different areas in florida this forum covers, how many of y'all use doe pee or tarsal gland scents during the rut?? which one seems to work the best??? I my self have had the best luck in Georgia with CODE BLUE. as i have yet to deer hunt florida, can not say.
a buddy of mine used code blue in hardee county and made a very large zigzag pattern across a field to get to his stand and he said a buck followed his trail exactly as he walked it. he said it wasnt the buck he was after so he passed on it, but said it definately worked. in sc if someone shoots a buck then we cut the tarsal glands and drag them to our stands.
i usually try to get some tarsals from the processor.
i tried tinks and hunter specialties last year in ga. no luck what so ever. had does blowing and that was it.
i sometimes put some Tinks 69 out. Ive had deer stop and sniff it. If you pace out a nice shooting distance like 20-25 yards then put it on the ground then the deer could stop there and give you a shot
