i shoot federal or hornady. im almost out of federals, and where i buy my ammo, they were out of federals so i picked up some hornady. actually when i bought the rifle, the guy gave me a box of winchester, they were pretty old. i shot them up and got the federals, and they shot nice, i have not shot any of the hornadys yet. that is all i have shot out of my .308

100 grain vital shocks in the federal for the .25-06
165 grain hornady for the .308

Went to Wally world and found the bases/rings i like. It had Leuplod style bases rings, but I did not like them
I took those off and got regular Weaver style rings and bases
Scope is mounted
All I need to do is bore sight it and hit the range
