man for that price you can get the summit viper ss and save money too! but as everyone else has said you can not beat the summit vipers. i went through several types of climbers over the years and i finally spent the money (well the wife did) and bought me a summit and i have never been so happy with a tree stand as i am now, i got mine at bass pro during the fall classic show paid 225.00 they go 279 normally, they you can get the foot rest in wich i highly recomend and then you can get the suround seat with pockets in it for stuff and or heat packs, the seat that comes with it is fine also, it can be adjusted to your comfort. all the way down for gun huntin and all the way up for bow huntin its all up to you. as you can tell i'm a big fan of the viper ss the ss stands for... sit and stand thats the climbing style, i regularly sleep in mine well i should say i sleep in mine almost every hunt, very secure very comfortable my personal longest sit was six hours, my longest in any other stand i've ever owned was max 2 hours. get yourself the viper ss you will never regret it.
if you want an open front climber go with a summit razor so you can sit and climb then move the sit bar out of the front so you dont hit your lower cam on the bar i love mine
