Every dog hunter from Gilchrist county North is breaking that rule. Guaranteed. I don't think the FCC really enforces it, however I do know for a fact they are enforcing guys using VHF radio's on land
Sure the FCC is not enforcing their laws, due to man-power and resources.
But breaking the law is still breaking the law.
go ahead, spin the wheel, take your chance...
...You may never get caught.
but then again you may just win the lottery too...
Oh and the folks that are doing it and getting away with it for now, are taking the same chances as everyone else.
Still dont make it right....
Good luck
i know a guy who used to have amps on his back in the 70s. he could sit at a gas station, key down his mic and shut off the gas pumps it was so powerful. at least thats what he says

I'm not breaking the law because I don't have a CB in my truck. I can tell you that a Galaxy radio, which I bought off the shelf of a store, and a Power Mic, which I bought off the shelf was kicking almost 30 watts. So my point is if they are going to enforce this(there are problems that are more important, imho), they need to regulate it with the people that are selling them

Kyle, back in the day my old man had a 400W linear in his truck. If you were next to him and your cb was turned off, and he talked thru the mic, it would come thru your radio with yours turned off
