Gotta get some new boots this week, the ones i have now have got prolly close to 1000 miles on them in about 10 states and Canada and the soles are finally comin off. Who makes the best ones? Not looking for snake boots or anything just ones that go over the ankle for support. Whatcha all got? :toast
Everybody's gonna have their own opinion, but for the $$, LaCrosse will be about your best bet. The Alpha Lights are decent boots. It really depends on what you're lookin for. Need to be able to keep your feet dry if you wade thru any water, but if you're not gonna be walkin thru mud or water, then something lower would be sufficient. Check out some of the Dream Season boots or some of the "stalker" style boots. The more comfortable the boot is, the easier your day is gonna be, especially if you do a lot of walking.

im willing to drop some cash on some that will never leave me with blisters. need to be water proof but i never submerge them completely, thats when i wear the rubber boots :toast ill look into those though, thanks J
