ar is a nice gun..(sold mine btw, got like 3gs).. I have used the one i had alot. It needs to always be loaded with oil or it will jam. If i was to be in a war i would choose the ak over the ar any day.. Its a proven fact that the ak is more Reliable. They even say it on tv, the history channel, and mail call. So im not the only one who thinks it. Ive seen many comparison shows where the ak wins the challenge.
The ar looks a hell of a lot better, has way many more acessories and stuff and i love it.. But i do like the ak more.
I have heard the reviews about the AK and it is a good gun for an untrained man, hard to break, and dummy proof. It takes a SOLDIER to run an AR efficiently. But you can't reach out to 500 yds with an AK and hit center body mass like an AR. It is kinda like comparing a Kimber 1911 to a Glock, in my opinion. Both great guns, but one is a precision piece and the other goes boom everytime you pull the trigger, both will run all the time but it takes more work on the Kimber. My problem with the AK is that there are so many cheap variations made by every third world :sheet hole out there that you never know what you are getting.
Ya I saw your AR, it was a bad dude.
yea ar is good for long range shots.. i miss mine. but oh well i can allways get another one.. and the ak.. yea the norinko and all these other nockoffs are coming out. the best one is the yugo.. Same with the ar tho.. dmps, rock river, and all the rest of the "great value" companies.
my buddy here in tampa, with the gun shop, has one on the shelf. nice looking weapon.
