SO yesterday I made the trek down I4 to Bass pro. There were a couple things I really need as I am going to the woods next weekend and am cutting it too short to order stuff. It is no secret I am not a fan of Bass Pro, and probably won't go back.

First off, I was in a crappy mood by the time I got there. Driving down I4 and just being in the town of Orlando will wipe the smile off anyone's face. I don't know how anyone can live in that mob of people.

There was a certain model Moultrie camera I wanted. My wife is staying in Debary with her friend, and offered to pick it up on her way back. I looked on their website, and didn't even see this particular model listed. SO I said the heck with it and I'll just go out there. I was surprised they only had 2 models of Moultrie cams in the store. Moultrie probably has 35 models out. All they had was the A5 (which was $9 higher on their "sale" than everywhere else). And they had the M880, which I ended up getting. Not what I wanted, and not really a great deal on "sale" either.
Went over to the archery dept to get broadheads. Every brand of BH I am familiar with was extremely expensive, compared to other places. Rages, $5 higher than everywhere else. Same with the NAP Bh's. Figured I would get a pack of Magnus stinger buzz cuts for my xbow. $37. I get them shipped from Amazon for $24.
I walked a few of the aisles, and it seems every item I am familiar with that is on "sale" is higher than anywhere else

Just seems their sale is not really a sale and it is just to get people in the store. Used to seem like during the fall sale there were always bins full of stuff at good prices.

Heading up to the one in ft. Lauderdale shortly. I don't really need anything but feel like looking around. Gonna go to the range and shoot my bow this afternoon.
