electronics aint working now with no battery.. get the game cart sucka.. lol
I charged it yesterday and its reading 12.6v. It just goes dead from sitting in the garage and not getting used. Its the original battery, so I will get a new one before hunting season. The ATV is fixin to get a workout here in the next two days dragging an 8-blade disc behind it
im glad it works allen. and i accept your apology for saying i broke it ;P
If it only reads 12.6v, it's dead. A fully charged 12v battery will read between 13 and 14.4 volts. Anything less, and there isn't enough amperage to start a go cart.

Don't think that's quite right. Average 12 volt battery has 6 cells, each produces about 2.1 volts, for a total of 12.6 volts. Here's a reference chart for open voltages at different temps:

You get 13-14+ volts from an alternator when a car is running as that is how the battery is kept charged. So if you take a reading at the battery while the car is running, you'll see 13-14+ volts.
