I've been wanting to get a new seat for my climber and finally started looking last week online. When I found the website I noticed there was a recall on my cable and that they replaced them with chains. I called the # and left a message,they replied within a few hrs and e-mailed me all the info on the new seats and said the'd replace the cable for me. I went ahead and ordered a new seat and they also sent me 2 new sets of chains for me and my brothers stands that we bought together in 02'. I think I ordered them last Wed morn and got everything Fri morn.
You can order the chain covers on ebay cheaper than anywhere.

I was gonna tell you it's just shrink wrap,it should be easy to do yourself.
I've got that same Grand Slam. I bought it many years ago and have the original wrap on the chain. I looked on Ebay but there are 2 different sizes you can get. Anyone know which one is the right size?
sweeet,just pick up a used API grand slam magnum climber,traded for weed eater.Needs new chain covers.
