+1 on the redfield solid steel rings/bases. I like a 1 piece if able.

Im all for one piece mounts. Almost all of my shooters wear dednutz mounts...

I ended up buying a Weaver one piece mount and some Leupold Rifleman rings. Hope I did alright!
