All put together in Oregon with a lifetime warranty. Go look at the 2-7x33.

Batemaster, I've been using Redfield scopes since the late 1960's. Makes me feel old just writin' that! In all those years I have never had a scope failure. Rifles have been carried on jeeps, buggies, horses and even a motorcycle in my younger more foolish days with out having any problems with the scopes holding their zero. They have been dropped, submerged and generally used as a tool with great satisfaction. My 1st Redfield was a 2X7 with a 4-plex reticle, used it for years on an old 700 30/06, then happened to look through someones newer model Redfield and found that the quality of the optics had greatly improved, had to get a new one! Presently I'm using a 3X9X40mm on a Knight front loader and a 3X9X40mm on a model 700 .243. Since all the business dealings of several years ago concerning the Redfield company you don't seem to have as much of a selection as was once available, but if I needed a scope I would do my best to find a suitable Redfield, even if it was a used scope. All this said, there are many equally good brands and many probably superior brands to the Redfield line but there are way too many cheap junkers out there sold at attractive prices that will let you down. A good quality scope needs to be tied to your rifle with good quality rings and bases, another place where saving a few dollars might get you in trouble if you and your rifle get blindsided by a pine tree or a boar hog.
