Yep most all of the newer revolvers are all junk. 95% MIM parts to keep the cost down. You can find a good older used Colt or S&W revolver for under $500.

I will vouch for the Taurus 357 snubnose. Thats what I have. Pretty indestructible. I really like the versatility of being able to use 38 Special rounds. I also agree with staying away from the ultralights. You need the weight on that gun.

He's not planning to hunt with it he want's something smaller and lighter that what he has now. Thank's GO I will send him that link.
