Nice, do you reload for her? You are right on the money... People are hurting. I just bought another small collection of 7 guns and they cost me less than $1,000.00 I have been buying alot of great deals lately.. Trying to sell a few of my shotguns since I have over a dozen now... If they don't sell I'll keep them and sell them in 5 years for more money...
I got a little 44mag Carbine made by Ruger, it is a great little gun if you can find one, not sure it is in the price range or not. I think JohnL has one too. Just another option. You really can't go wrong with Winchester 94 though.
Have the same gun. Has a 3x9 scope Tasco(when Tasco made a good scope). They are hard to come by, and folks that have them and know what they are just don't get rid of them. I see them once and a while for around $600. Great gun for a kid or smaller frame person(or anyone else for close range shots)
the spanish and italian made replicas for cowboy action shooting may be a cheaper option. rossi is one mfg'r
u might check on a T/C in 44 mag. I have one with a 10" bull barrel. love it and if u shop atound u might find one at a good price. I like having 2 hands free until "crunch"time.
I know Puma makes lever actions in 357, 44 and 454 casual have heard they are decent and fairly cheap but I don't know if they make one with a 16-18" barrel. I have a Winchester 1894 trapper carbine with a scout scope mount and red dot scope I traded a friend my old blackhawk 44 mag for it. It is by far my favorite gun and great for pigs
