Frankwt - talked to my buddy last night and he said he'd take $425.00 for the Marlin 1894 44 Mag. It has a scope base mounted on it. Beleive I can get it for you for $400.00. He also has a Marlin 1984 CSS, Stainless Walnut .357 Mag, New in the Box, never fired, but that would run you right at $700.00 he said. That's a tough one to find used. Let me know.

No I am not a reloader, wish I was, the 351 ammo is 33-35 for 20, I will shoot it a little and then put the whole thing up for sale w/ammo and extra mags I am getting...sooner or later.

Let me think about those 2 guns for a day please, where would they be located, in other words do I need them shipped or can I pick up..Thanks Frank

I could bring them back from GA next time I go up, I think I am going again around the 8th of October to shoot doves on the 9th. Let me know... I am in South Tampa, M-F and Winter Springs F-Sun.

The 351 Win was used alot as a prison gun and it was originally chambered to compete with the .35 Rem. Remington had the .30 Rem, .32 Rem, and the .35 Rem and Winchester in those days had the 30-30, .351 Win and another smaller caliber (can't recall) which all competed against each other. The only two calibers that actually made it to the modern age were the 30-30 Win and the .35 Rem which as you know are still popular and used today...

If you can find 351 Win ammo loaded, buy all you can. In a few more years you won't be able to even find reloading supplies for it...

Yeah I know, shorter supplies every year. My Granddad had this 351, rode a horse and killed Buffalo with a shot behind the head while riding. Used to have the saddle holster but it deteriorated away. Also hunted with the Dawson Gang as they were escaping into mexico...lol
