I'm looking at about 2.5 acres off of I-95 in Volusia county. is that enough to get some good animals or is that just not enough? Any hogs in that area?
No, not enough.
how much land do you think would be sufficient for hog hunting?
You will get alot of different answers on this but I would say at least 20 acres. You could get away with less if there are no homes or neighbors and you had permission from adjoining property owners.
It depends on what is around the land.I personally wouldn't buy land to hog hunt on but if deer traveled thru it then it would be a different story. If there's a game trail crossing it or it borders something that holds game there's no reason you couldn't kill some animals on it. After a couple of shots on a piece that small they may get wise to you though.
