a.k.a. The Man.

The only foley club I've ever been checked by a gw was sandhill and I've been a member of foley leases for over 5 yrs. Yes, I think all are ran on the "good ole boy" system, at least the clubs I'm familar with are. Not so much by foley (they are great ppl) but by the leaders of the clubs.

Foley timber is turning into a good ole boy network. They are in the pine tree business and don't give 2 craps about hunters. What happened on our lease this summer is a perfect example of it.

Btw I talked to a guy last season in the Springs that hunted in TCHC. He got out because he was tired of having feeders, camera's and stands stolen

It sounds like dishonest members imo. I leave at least 5 unlocked stands in the woods yr around and haven't had a stand or camera stolen. I haven't heard of a stand stolen off the hwy 98 leases in several years at least. They tend to be the primary "local boy" clubs though and anyone stealing stands would be caught and hung from an oak tree :hang

I was on a Foley lease a few years back and the main problem we had were locals coming in during the week through gates that the timber cutters left open they took a few stands and feeders that were visible from the road never had a problem with the club members.
