Every club up that way is in desperate need of members. 66 0f the 68 leases that Foley timber co has was short on members, as of 3 weeks ago. The rumor is that Tripe Creek will be taken over by a different club after this season
I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that. I seen that craigslist ad this morn to. Funny,last year my crew tried getting in there and they put us on a waiting list,still haven't heard back from them.You'd really think Foley would drop the prices back down to where a working man could afford to hunt. Triple creek is cheaper than our club and has more members,they also allow year round hog hunting,fox season,and let you kill spikes.
Foley timber is turning into a good ole boy network. They are in the pine tree business and don't give 2 craps about hunters. What happened on our lease this summer is a perfect example of it.
Btw I talked to a guy last season in the Springs that hunted in TCHC. He got out because he was tired of having feeders, camera's and stands stolen
We've had a few things come up missing in our club,but not bad. Nowhere near as bad as I've seen in WMA's and other clubs. We had a few just get kicked out of our club and we're also getting all new locks.In all the years I've hunted in there I've never seen a GW.
