The formaldehyde problem would go away after a while. You just have to keep the trailer plugged in with the air running on lowest (warmest) setting. With a big tub of baking soda and another tub of charcoal inside, the smells go away within a month or so. I keep the charcoal handy in my hunting trailer (converted bunkhouse from an office trailer) for when I store it. No musty smell or anything.
