I personally like it better and have more success with less acorns being produced. Deer have to move more to find food instead of just standing up and eating right in there bedroom.

My thoughts exactly . Last year the crop was so heavy it made it tough for me. Deer had no reason to move until the rut kicked in.

x3 can't stand the years of bumper crops.

only the bigger round acorns not up on Oak species. I have a few different ones here

The live oaks are having a bumper crop this year, after a non existent crop last year on my lease. I put some ribbons on a few that are dropping so I know which ones to fertilize in Jan/Feb. The water oaks are just beginning to fall. I am hoping my fertilizer shows an improvement in game activity in a couple locations. It's already paying off in one spot for sure

I forgot I had this video on my phone, I took back in archery. I fertilized the crap out of this stand of oaks in January. It was literally raining acorns. All the background noise you hear is acorns falling, and you can actually see them falling in parts of the video. They are still falling a bit as of this past weekend
