they must be making them in larger sizes now, havent been able to get mine around the waist in a while. they do have just the right amount of space for all your shit however. now I just hang it from a heavy gun belt witn shoulder strap.
i ended up getting a backtrack for christmas and that goes in my day pack for sure. i havent taken it to unfamiliar territory yet, but that thing is a great investment. i think skunkape said he has one. easy to use for sure. i have used it in the nieghborhood or even driving across town and it is dead on. i have checked the distances in it with my rangefinder and it is very accurate. i think they are like 65 bucks. SG has them for 62.
