hate to carry it cuz it's heavy but my multi tool is seeing a lot of use, hand pruners and leupold lens pen also. cell phone, compass, binocs, water, thermacell and bug spray are must haves.
thermacell,compass,cell phone,multi tool,hand pruner,head light(green),trail markers,misc. items in a possibles bag,and a few bottles of water,and a sharp knife
All of the above plus some in a small back pack....
I've been doing a lot of pre season prep work: clearing trails, removing vines from brite eyes (so I can slip into my spots in the dark without poking my eye out or tripping), adding safety lines with prussic knots and a seat belt type line for bench seats on all stands I intend to use (mine or not). hopefully later in the season I won't need to carry as much. forgot to include flashlight (your choice), T.P., brite eyes, marking tape (only used for marking when trailing game, lasts me a long time lol), and bic lighter. it adds up fast. trying to downsize from daypack to fanny pack.
Never forget TP and bandaids either!
