My dad lives in Michigan but wants to hunt sometime with me in Florida. He cannot pull a bow because his back is shot. He has a special permit for Michigan. What does he need to do so he can hunt in Florida? I know at times you may use a crossbow but what about the times you cannot?

You can use a crossbow during general gun without a permit or anything special. You can use one during archery if you have a disability permit. I dont know if the Michigan disability permit is good here though

Can you use one during small game season? I don't see anthing excluding crossbows.

Id say yes just because the brochures say during small game only centerfire rifles are prohibited.

crossbow hunting has its own season. I would email fwc to be sure.
