Looks like Ida is going to dump a lot of rain in our area even if it stays in the gulf. Just in time for Opening weekend of Gun.

What are your plans for hunting? I have a permit for a WMA that hasn't opened for hunting yet, but opens next weekend. Been looking forward to this hunt since I was drawn. Saw plenty of deer last year, just no bucks. Passed on a hog hoping a buck would come out. Pretty much my favorite WMA.

What do you guys do if there's a lot of rain in the forecast?

If its bad then i wont even go. lots of wind and lightning isnt good. not safe and the deer wont be moving anyways. sucks that it happens to be that weekend though
