Winds out of the East, fish bite the least.... Same for hunting, imho. I hate an E wind. My stands are not set up for it at all.
Are you parking on the HWY and going in? Or turning on a road and hunting close tot he hwy? If you are parking on the hwy I'll bet you they see your truck there and slip in when you are not there. Need to put a cam up about 30' and face it to your stand
We've had some gates ripped down there. I don't think anyone is on my stand,most likely getting dropped off at the hwy and just going in the woods in gen. I'm thinking some guys with cur dogs at night.I do park on the hwy at the one spot,but there's no trail to my feeder. There are a lot of yotes up there now,I seen a huge one I'd swear was a wolf at my feeder Thur morn. I rushed a shot at him and gave him a hair cut.
Yeah my club pres called me this morning letting me know he changed all the locks, and to come by and get a new key. He's in the process of redoing all the gates. We had some problems off of Turkey road with the local yocals. We ran a bunch of kids off earlier this summer, and a guy trying to get some action
