Well I went out to green swamp and did some scouting and set up my stand in a new spot got back to the truck and there were 2 trucks 100 yds away from mine in both directions pissed me off but I found a decent spot and didn't want to move it was already 5:30 and starting to rain, i'm pretty far in so hopefully they'll push something my way. Anyway I found this shed while looking around thought it was pretty cool.
Passed up a doe last night,got a pic of either a 6 or 8 at the stand I decided not to sit in at 8:00 am yesterday morn about 12 yards from my stand. Sometime you just pick the wrong spot. My hogs all vanished from my feeder and so did the deer but did see a coyote there,also seen a yote at my good spot that scared 5 deer away.
Thats weird. My uncle said the same thing. He did shoot a hog mid-week he couldn't find. They are flat tearing up my feeders. My partners dad killed a 7pt this morning just after daylight that was by himself eating corn(Lake City). Hearing rumors the bucks are starting to act a little silly. Tis the season I look forward to.................
My spots by the hwy I believe are getting poached. These are spots that I always see game.I mean like 30 hogs a day and lots of deer. I sat for two days and seen nothing. I seen tons in the heart of the club,plenty of hog sign. My buddy killed one hog.With this Obama economy probably making a lot of the locals hungry for some meat. Seen 3 splattered hogs on 51.
Allen,where I got the buck pic I got at least 20 big rubs and scrapes everywhere. I think he winded me this morn,everything kept coming from downwind of me. That stinkin hot easterly wind is screwing me up bad,sa soon as it changes from the N or NW I'll be slinging arrows.
