Noone is pulling your leg. Like has been said, if you are putting out soured corn and don't have any hogs eating it, then there are no hogs there. You may have had one pass thru at some point in time. I would just get rid of all you have and just use shelled corn until they show up. I'm telling you, I had a bucket here at the house I was using when I was trapping. The corn in there was at least a year old. I took it to my lease and poured it out on one of the roads. When I went back for the afternoon hunt it was gone. Every piece. Since then I poured a 50# bag of goat feed that had Indian Meal Moths in it, and they ate the whole 50# over night. Now every time I go by that spot I dump corn out. When I go back it is gone every time.

Matter of fact, Sunday there was a herd of about 30 of them eating in that spot on my way out. I mis judged yardage and sent a 2-blade Bloodrunner about 2" over its back

I've got straight whole corn in the feeder and the sour corn in the ground in post holes. it doesn't seem to bother the squirrels/deer/ducks or coons, they just eat around it. it was enough work getting it in there and there it's gonna stay. I'm thinking once the wma hunting season opens the hunting pressure will make the hogs drift back down. if they were there once I'm sure they will be back again SOMETIME. I'm sure as hell not gonna dig up the sour corn and pack it out.

Don't feel bad, NG. I have about a gallon of dried up stank corn sitting on the ground at my lease, and has been since Labor Day. The hogs hit it pretty good at first, and now, nuttin is touchin the stuff. And I know there are hogs there all the time. All you have to do is look at the tracks on the ground 2 feet away. And the amount of rooting they're doing indicates that they are hungry, or, they just wanna tear up my food plots.
