if you ever ate venison tenderloin, I seriously doubt you would let them go to waste, it would be worse than leaving the backstrap. IMO. but do as you wish it's your loss.

All you gotta do is split the belly cavity down about 10" or so, reach in cut out tenderloins. However I gut all mine, I like ribs
