nice shot placement. never knew what hit it I'd expect. just about all of yours, that I re-call are shot there, not accidental I suppose.
I do my best to neck/head shoot every animal I can. Like Ive said before, I see walking pieces of meat. And I despise having meat waste due to the shot placement. I figure if I can hit them in the heart/lungs, I can hit them in the head or neck as well.And if I don't it usually results in a clean miss, like I did 2x the other day. My processor even made a comment today about it. He thanked me for head shooting just about every animal I have toted to him. Matter of fact my buddy took one at the same time that was head shot. I think the meat is just so much better and cleaner when shot like that
yup, a lung shot = a messy body cavity when cleaning.
