Trust me, I utilize every piece of meat on every animal I shoot. Out of the 7 I've shot this year, I gave one away to a friend who had not been able to hunt, and another I donated back to the forest(I am totally against that, but this one was completely infested with hog lice and looked to be sick/diseased). My family uses it. Moreso the pork than the venison. And I give a lot away, at my expense. I dropped this big ole gal off Saturday at the butcher and picked up the one from last week. This one I am getting boston butts done on the shoulders, a few ham steaks, and the rest I am having done into smoked sausage. I aint done shooting yet, and am already making plans for the next one I pull the trigger on

24 hours and I'll be on my way to camp for 10 days! :toast Got a call from the lease holder yesterday that he didn't want us to shoot more than 1 doe a piece during doe week. :taz I sure hope a few bucks decide to play or he's gonna end up pissed. We have had guys and cams in the woods all season and have seen no signs of a rut other than some young bucks sparring at night. I'm kinda hoping that it kicks off while I'm up there and didn't already happen. My buddy checked my cam at 1 spot and said I got nothing but bears for the last week. :taz
