didn't you just break another cam not too long ago?

Sure did. Went and bought another one yesterday. Guy at the register says if I bought the extended warranty they would replace it for free even with it being water damaged. Needless to say I didn't buy it with the other one that got wet. The one I just broke fell out of my fanny pack maybe 1' and broke the screen behind the glass so you can't see any pics at all. I bought a Canon 12mp with 12x optical zoom and 48x digital zoom. Takes much better pics than the wet one. I also went ahead and got the extended warranty for this one since it will be used mostly in the woods and they'll replace it pretty easily right in the store. I've got a really nice Sony digital cam also that I haven't used in a couple years that is just sitting at the house collecting dust. I may want to get rid of that one to pay for some new toys.

You can't beat a CAnon. I have a little point & shoot that I have beat the hell out of. It gets toted in my back pack, thrown around in the truck, on the dash of my boat, in the tackle box. It has now been regulated to more of a SD card viewer.

x-tended warranty's sound like a good idea for you. my wife won't let me take her camera so all I use is the phone and am surprized I haven,t lost dropped or submerged it yet. gotta put it in a couple of zip-locs
