I drilled a 1-1/2" hole in the bottom of a 4" pvc tube app 3' long, that I used to store arrows, so it doesn't hold alot to begin with. I could probly jb-weld a washer to make the hole smaller. just using what I had handy and free. what size opening do you recomend?
6' of 4" pvc w/ cap on bottom, a screw in cap on top, and a 3/4" hole for the corn. Adding a 90 elbow at the bottom and then a short piece of 4" and then the cap makes it easier for the critters to get the corn out, but still makes em work for it.

I use A 55 gal drum with two 4x4 poles on each side. Drill a 5/8 hole thru barrel and poles about 12" from top insert threaded rod and put washeres and nuts to keep water out. Put about a 1/2" hole on each side of bottom, better put a 6" square of sheet metal on first then drill. Metal keeps them from cutting thru drum. Bottom of barrel should be 12" to 18" from ground in a dry area. You can also rum some used oil on pt poles. The idea is to keep them coming back and hold them there longer, not give them a meal.
