I hear you guys talking about a drag harness. Do you have a picture of one? Does anyone just use their safety harness to drag stuff out?

The Hunter Safety System comes with a rope and carabiner that you can hook to the back of the vest and use as a drag. You utilize your legs and back more, so it makes it easier

I guess the advantage is that it is easier to pack than a standard treestand harness. Cool, I'll pick one up at Bass.

the 4pt tree harness work good, but if hunting from the ground I get 2- sections of nylon webbing 2" wide and have a shoemaker sew a large loop on each end ( big enough for a large gloved hand ) about 6-8 feet long each and a carabiner. if alone you can pass the strap thru the hog/deers rear leg tendons, or around the neck, whatever you prefer, wrap the other strap across your chest and over one shoulder, pass one loop thru the other and conect your tether to the games with the carabiner and drag hands free, if with a buddy pass one strap thru the hamstrings and each of you has a handle. also usefull for hanging game or tethering yourself in a treestand. light cheap and takes up little room in a pack.they also work well as a hand hold to help get in and out of a treestand, or to pull your gun/pack from ground to stand.
