I dunno about usin lemons and such for stink corn, but my hogs will plum put the smackdown on a 5 gallon bucket of loquats. 15 mins, and they are all gone. And they like em even better after they've "aged" in the closed bucket for a few days.

Don't know what I'm gonna do after the rest of the fruit falls off the tree. Only one batch a year off the tree. Gotta find something other than corn and table scraps to feed them critters that for sure. They'll eat sweat feed, but only when they are REAL hungry. Gonna try some soybeans to see if they'll eat em and put on weight faster than with pasta, rice, veggies, fruit, taters, and chicken nuggets.

I understand baiting, and that hogs like some foods better than others but I don't get this stink corn thing. When I get water in a feeder and the corn rots in it and stinks terrible nothing ever eats it when I dump it on the ground. They go out of their way to eat the whole corn that is dry.Whether or not it works I think it's a waste of time making all these different concoctions, dumping plain corn on the ground sucks them in and holds them.I have dug holes and burried entire bags of corn and mixed in hog wild or mollases, but it just makes them work harder to get to it.

they will definately eat both, but my thinking is that the rotting smell will carry alot further. my bump feeder is being emptied in less than 36 hours, but I realy need a camera to see whats eating it and when. I also put out 100 lbs of whole corn and scratch feed during turkey season and nothing seemed to touch it, but haven't been there to check it in 2-3 weeks.

If your going thru that much corn in your bump feeder your hole is to big. It should be big enough to let a kernel or two get out.The hog needs to work for his food.A couple hogs can eat fifty lbs of corn in no time, 100 lbs of corn should last at least 10 days.
