I mix it in a 5-gal bucket. Fill bucket half full of corn, pour in a beer, grape kool-aid and completely fill bucket with water. It takes a good week or so to get ripe. We usually just dip some out in a big Folger's coffee can and dump it right under the feeder. Trust me, they can smell it from a long ways away

i have used sour corn alot. back on my other place. would put some out couple days before a hunt. worked well to keep them in an area longer. wouldn't put it right under the feeder though. about 30 yds away from it.
think the old lady would object if I mixed a big batch in the bathtub?
That is completely dependent on the receptiveness of the old lady.
Sorta like...."Hey can someone come move this transmission so I can take a bath?...."
Never tried soured corn,never had a problem with the regular corn.
