bought a pair of snake boots from Dicks. they carry two kinds. get the pair that zip up the side. Their awesome. $130.00
I have already walked up on 6 cottonmouths and a Pigmy rattler this season. You dont want to get bit by a Diamondback deep into the woods. Its worth it to get the boots. and by the way, I was in my stand in Richloam this past weekend and the temp was around 50, I saw a cottonmouth sitting on a log. he was about 3" in diameter.
