I always thought a snake could sense the ground vibtrations from a 300+ pound man from a long way off and slither away, until Crock almost stepped on one in my area. I have seen water mocasins swim towards us while fishing along the bay shores in N.C., they have brass balls, and youre gonna need a pair while wading cuz theres only one place there gonna bite you then.
That low of a vibration will not bother them. A fast pace vibration like someone running would get there attention.
