And that is EXACTLY why I wear snakeboots. I'd rather cut back on gas, beer, sodas, even food and have enough for a $89 pair of snake boots than end up gettin bit. Now, those pics are on the extreme, but the fact that it can happen, and the fact that I often hunt alone, makes it almost a necessity. Add to that I have 2 kids and a wife to take care of (and Gunboy to entertain, of course), and I cannot justify not having a pair of snake boots. The world wouldn't be the same w/o TBone.
I got a recipe/plans for a set of $10 gaiters if you need them, homemade but work great! Of course you could make your own chaps with a deer hide.
