Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has hunting plans for Veterans day? Our agency has the day off, and as a Veteran, I was thinking of going hunting or shooting my M1 Garand and M1 Carbine.
It appears that the only public land open for hunting on 11/11/2010 is gonna be Myaka Archery Hog Management.
If anyone knows of a WMA with in a few hours(less than 4 hours) of Tampa/St. Pete that will be open to hunting, archery or general gun, please let me know

Kissimmee Zone C will be open for General Gun November 6 through January 23, but centerfire rifles aren't allowed.
Corbett allows rifles in some areas, is open General Gun November 6 through January 2, and it's right at your 4 hour limit from TPA/St Pete.
I'm planning on going to Myakka that day (archery) before my 10 day trip to Green Swamp for Gen Gun. If you are going to Myakka let me know and we can probably meet there.

i wouldnt make the trip from tampa to go to lake monroe thats for sure!
