You can shoot rifled slugs through a rifled bbl as said all you will have is lead build up.Also the fins or rifling on a slug does not impart any or the slightest amount of spin the fins are for the reduction of friction through the bbl.

The Improved choke is the recomended choke to use for slugs. Improved choke is a bigger diameter than the MOD.
The rifled barrel slugs CANNOT be used with a smooth bored shotgun. Usually a shotgun that has a rifled barrel will not have the option to change the choke cause the barrel is specifically made for rifled slugs.
Sorry Guys, When I said Rifled slugs, I meant Slugs that are for Rifled barrels. Im such a Bonehead.
Yeah those sabot rounds need rifling to stabilize for best performance.
