I didn't quite do it like the instructional showed. I had no vice but did manage to get everything on pretty straight. Used a 5/8 wrench to lock the ring in place. It also recomended not to use any lock tite on the threads so I didn't.

Absolutely,I was leary of not using locktite but they say flat out they don't recomend it.It's starting to come together,as soon as I mount a scope I'll take a pic of it with me in a thong and all my other guns. I do appreciate all the advice y'all have given me and listening to my bs the last few months while I was shopping.Everyone have a coldwieser on me. Hellbilly, the guy in the video says if you do use locktite, use the blue color,he was pretty sure of torquing the screws down with the hexhead driver was sufficient.I will find out.

I had always used loc tite as well. I watched a video one day by "HI, I'm Larry Potterfield...Thanks for your business..." and he said the same thing. Get a small torque wrench and torque it to spec and there is no need for it. Its amazing how much I was over tightening the allen screws and didn't realize it

Tighten it 'til it smokes, then back it off half a turn!
