Deer season has not been open long. And already there has been some life altering accidents. Accidents that could have been prevented. Georgia has already had 3 children die from firearm accidents. Keep them younguns safe. And make sure they have a harness in a tree stand. From the reports i have read every one of these could have been prevented. It might not be cool to wear a harness but if you have to wear one so that your kid will wear one. DO IT. Be safe this year.

2 of the incidents, which are seperate. the kids fell out of a ladderstand which somehow caused their guns to discharge. the other one, the boy was sleeping ina double stand with his grandpa. granpa poked him to wake him up and the kid awoke startled and hit his trigger discharging his firearm striking him in the head. just want everyone to pay close attention to their young hunters. i have one myself and could not imagine how things would be if something happened to him that i could have prevented with just paying attention to little details. hug em and keep them safe this season.
