with all the rain fall this summer richloam will be wet for a while. i ride with a few other jeeps now and then in richloam and know the area. if the rain keeps up it may be better to hunt with scuba gear and a spear gun. i have hunted the area off and on for several years. it's fun to drive by all the camp sites and see the small city that is constructed during hunting season. check the regs to make sure of the dates for hogs as it has changed over last few seasons. i think it is still ok to run dogs. all the advice i have picked over the years is find a spot and put in the seat time. with miles of roads that criss cross it is difficult to have a private hunt. and it does not hurt to have a vehickle that can ford a few feet of water
Thanks for f'n the roads up put there. Groups like yours are the reason I wish they would gate that placeu up. Most of the roads are ruined out there.
you are welcome ^
My first date with my wife was a good ride in Richloam on trails like that. Then we went to DeJa Vu....I told her right then I was gonna marry her...LOL!!
Lmao

I was down there this afternoon in my jeep on 35's checking my hunting spots. A few places water was in the floor board and fan was slapping water on the road not in the slough crossings, Slough was up to the head lights. If it keeps raining and people keep playing, it is going to a electric wench and snorkle kit hunting season and I dont hunt the wet side. It hasnt been this way for several years, it will weed out the men from the boys.
backwoods, how is the condition of the main roads in richloam? been a few weeks since i was out and about if you dont have an electric winch and trying to decide....get one if you can. one of the greatest recovery tools made. i have used mine for self recovery and recovering those unfortunate souls out exploring alone. still thinking about a snorkel as my jeep can not hold her breath...
