Can anyone clue me in on rear sight removal? I have taken out elevation screw, and cross pin, but can't remove sight.

To remove the actual sight blade, hook your fingernail on the sight and pull it to the LEFT against the spring.

Then just tip the RIGHT side up and carefully allow the blade to move up and out.
The tiny spring can be dumped out the right side through the screw hole.

To reassemble, lube everything.
Drop the spring into the sight through the windage screw hole.
Tip the blade and insert the blade's LEFT side down into the base until it catches the spring, then just pull the blade over to the left and push down into the base.

Make SURE the blade has engaged the spring properly.

Pandaxmx to the rescue :rockon . Follow his advise. I saw him in action at the Green Swamp and he is good.

Pandaxmx, are you going to the GS this weekend. I'll be there Sat/Sun. Taking the camper back home. Just need to know if you want the "document". :eek
