Heck yes a coon will bite thru a set of gloves. especially a pissed off boar coon in a trap. I have a hook that I use to drag traps around. They will eat you up

Or, you could get a "friend" to hold the coon for ya. A true friend would do that for a feller.

Only I ask, is I gotta humane leg hold trap, ya put a marsmella in, and a couple marshmellas in vacinity, maybe catch some coons, get license to sell as pets. he puts his hand in to get candy........................WANGO! he caught by little wrist!

Why a silencer for killing a coon. Just grab the freakin' thing bare handed like a man or a Skunk Ape. It'll quit stinging eventually.
