Yes, just don't shoot slugs out of a tight choked barrel or bird shot out of a rifled barrel.
you can shoot slugs out of a regular smooth bore shotgun too, just get the rifled slugs not sabots. And if it has a choke tube make sure it is not a full choke when shooting slugs use a modified choke tube or you can damage your barrel.
