I've got 4 slugs that are zeroed in, for my rifled slug barrel (bbl ), then I gotta go back to the range and re-zero. at 3$ a shot it gets pricey. I can never find the same brands or enough of them on store shelves, gotta start shopping by puter." one shot one kill " should last me thru the season. I've got 8 more possible days to hunt my area, if I'm lucky I can get out for 4 of them. my brother is coming to hunt with me, we havent hunted together since 1981 in colo. if the hunting don't work out maybe we could find a pie eating contest, or close down an all you can eat buffet.the BURRITO BROS are back!

thanks Lamehawk, Ive got 25 of the hornnady sst 300gr sabots in the on deck circle. I just want to use up the 2 federal/barnes expanders and the 2 winchester supreme sabots (that just happen to shoot the same )first. anyway 4 shots, 4 dead hogs hopefully, if I need a coup de grace I'll use my 45. then off to the range to re-zero. or I could just replace the rifled barrel with a smoothbore I have for it and go with buckshot or rifled slugs.I realy prefer the slugs and rifled bbl's, the accuracy is amazing and nothing realy matches the smackdown effect that I've used. a shotgun with many bbl's is so versatile they are realy hard to beat. I've got a 24"rifled with scope, 24" rifled open sights, 24" smoothbore, 26" smoothbore and 28" smoothbore. and at least 5 differnet stocks collected over the years from straight to pistol gripped, cut to different length of pulls, for different guests. so easy to swap parts to match up a gun for a particular shooter, kid/women adult. thanks for the offer, but I'll be fine.
I have to agree with the shotgun as a good all rounded weapon for much hunting we do.When I shot my mossy 500 with cantilever bbl and red dot I shot very well out to 150yd to 200yd range depending on slugs I used.
I shot all ranges to learn the slugs and knew where to shoot at any range out to 200++ yards plus ad in like you said change bbl asap and I have the choice of 3 other bbls.
I wouldn't mind trying one of those trijicon sights on a shotgun.
